In order to enhance government agencies' understanding of the Convention against Torture and Other Cruel, Inhuman or Degrading Treatment or Punishment (CAT), the Ministry of Justice organized the “International Exchange Conference on Implementation of the Convention against Torture & the 24^th  Semi-Annual Meeting of MOJ Working Group on Human Rights” on June 27, 2023, and invited Professor Jens Modvig, the former chairman of the United Nations Committee against Torture, to give a lecture on the core values and concepts of the CAT and to have a discussion after the lecture.
